French Orange and Almond Pudding
A simple dessert, full of beautiful orange flavour, and not complicated to make.
- 200 gr sugar
- Combine juice of 1 orange and 200 gr water
- When water, sugar and orange juice has boiled, place 4 thin slices of orange into this mixture and slowly boil for an hour.
- 2 good size oranges (use 1 orange for grating zest and 1 for juice)
- 2 eggs
- 80 gr butter
- 130 gr caster sugar
- 165 gr almond meal
- 80 gr plain flour
- 1 tblsp maple syrup
